About us
Ecogvalt is a public organization that started sounding the alarm in 2017 with the aim of improving the environmental situation in Kolomyia. The initial mission of our community was the formation of a sustainable center of environmental education in our hometown. Therefore, it is one of the activities of Ecogvalt there are lectures and workshops that provide practical tools for sorting waste, as well as responsible handling of it in general. In addition, in addition to the educational function, we provide an option for the sale of recycled materials. Therefore, it has been operating in Kolomyia since 2018 SEP Service, which has already been joined by 120 families. Our team is aware that sorting as an autonomous practice is not the most effective tool for ecological interaction with the environment. Therefore, in our work, we also rely on the concept of "Zero Waste" - minimizing waste through conscious consumerism.
