About us

Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Center was established in 1989. During this time, it has become one of the most famous and effective public radical environmental organizations in Ukraine. Here are some of his works: The Center created or expanded 475 objects of the natural reserve fund in 20 regions of Ukraine. The President of Ukraine approved 18 laws developed by the Center. Local authorities (regional councils, city councils, district councils, village councils, the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, various state administrations), on the proposals of the Center, adopted more than 200 decisions on environmental issues.
The Center is an official member of the International Society for the Protection of Animals -WSPA, a member of the International Social and Ecological Union -IUEC, a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature -IUCN
