Currently, there are 54 grassroots local organizations that protect the field, and specialized organizations and cooperative organizations to enhance their professionalism and popularity, such as the Citizens Environment Research Center, Environmental Law Center, Monthly Living Together, Eco Co-op, and Citizen Environment Information Center. We are actively participating in international solidarity by participating in the Rio Conference to resolve global environmental issues such as opposing the use of nuclear materials, protecting endangered species and whales, and responding to climate change. In 2002, we officially joined as a member of 'Friends of the Earth', one of the world's three largest environmental groups, and are working together to fulfill our global responsibilities as 'Friends of the Earth Korea'.
