Georgian Youth Ecomovement (GYEM)

Description

SAEM - Georgia Youth EcoMovement is a non-governmental, non-for-profit youth environmental organization uniting mostly schoolchildren and students under 30. Main aims of SAEM are: popularizing nature studies, enhancing environmental awareness and improving public participation. SAEM organizes different kinds of activities such as: Seminars and training, informational campaigns and exhibitions. Most popular activities of SAEM are: Annual exhibitions of children’s drawings on environmental problems; Informational campaigns on most important environmental problems – InfoBus; and summer study sessions for environmental activists.
