About us

Soleol SA, based in Estavayer-le-Lac, Fribourg, specialises in renewable energy and is a Swiss leader in the installation and exploitation of solar photovoltaic power plants.

Founded in 2008 by Jean-Louis Guillet, Soleol came into existence after recognising the market potential and future of renewable energy in Switzerland and around the world. Our company services cater to private individuals and industrialists, to agriculturalists, but also to public authorities, as well as to all actors in the real estate industry (architects, property management companies, general businesses).

Above and beyond its expertise and know-how, it is the trust our clientele has held in us since the start is he driving force of our success. With more than 540,000m2 of photovoltaic panels installed (equivalent to the electricity consumed by 24,000 homes), we represent the ideal partner for your solar project.

We have realised over 2,000 projects, ranging from detached homes to Switzerland’s largest photovoltaic power plant covering a surface area greater than 50,500 m2 in Onnens (VD). These projects can be viewed in the gallery.

Soleol is committed to the future, the goal being to make photovoltaics accessible to everyone. We believe that our responsibility goes above and beyond that. We support diverse organisations, such as the NGO Burkina Vision, by providing electricity and the funds necessary for the drilling of a water supply borehole that will supply a school of 900 students, and their teachers, with clean drinking water.
