Ecology is one of the most urgent topics of Krasnoyarsk and Krasnoyarsk region. Therefore, the creation of the Ecological Fund on the basis of the Siberian Federal University can be considered natural. The Environmental Fund is designed to support projects aimed at developing solutions to environmental issues in the Krasnoyarsk region and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. What is the purpose of the Fund? The Fund was created for realization of practical tasks of the Environmental Charter of Krasnoyarsk Krai. The main objectives of the Fund's activities are: - promotion of activities related to environmental protection and rational nature management - support of projects in the sphere of education, science and enlightenment - formation of ecological outlook - promotion of activities to eliminate and prevent environmental problems of local and global scale
