Canadian Environmental Network

We wish to acknowledge the land on which the Canadian Environmental Network operates. The country now known as Canada is located on the territories of the many Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island. We are grateful for the opportunity to live and work on this land, and strive to do so in a spirit of respect and reconciliation. The RCEN is an independent, non-partisan organisation. Our primary role is to support environmental NGOs (ENGO) by providing them with valuable networking and communication services. We also provide opportunities for ENGO representatives to participate in national and international meetings, conferences, workshops and consultations on environmental policy issues through a transparent, bilingual and democratic delegate selection process. RCEN acts as a connecting link between large and small environmental groups and individuals across Canada. By working together at consultations and workshops-or through various caucuses or committees-local, regional and national groups can share best practices and build strong relationships between each other and with various partners
