About us

Centennial Parklands Foundation is an independent charitable organisation established in 1998 to raise funds, generate awareness and engender community support to protect and enhance the vital green open spaces of Centennial Parklands.

The Foundation is led by Chair, Rebekah Giles, and the Board of Governors. On a day-to-day basis, the Foundation is managed by the Philanthropy & Partnerships Team of the Greater Sydney Parklands.

Centennial Parklands is one of the world’s most visited public parklands. Known as ‘the lungs of the city’, this critical green belt in the heart of Sydney provides a vital connection with nature for the physical, mental and social wellbeing of the community.
