About us
Ecological Council of the Citizens of Mongolia is an independent, non-profit, central organization that serves its members and has branch councils in 21 provinces. There are more than 700 NGOs registered as members of the country, of which there are more than 160 active NGOs. The highest governing body is the National Assembly, which meets once every two years. The meeting traditionally elects the head, management board, and supervisory board members of MBOIZ, and discusses and approves rules, recommendations and policy documents addressed to the government, non-governmental organizations, and citizens.
