About us

EFA’s mission, is to empower the people of West Africa, to conserve and protect the richly bio-diverse and threatened ecosystems of the Guinean Forests of West Africa Hotspot, to restore degraded environments, empower local communities and contribute to poverty reduction and environmental sustainability [through conducting environmental awareness, education and advocacy initiatives; managing protected areas and promoting biological research and ecotourism development for the sustainable livelihoods of forest-edge communities].
