About us

The mission of the Friends of the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge is to protect, and promote an appreciation of, the amazing 146,000 acres of Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge and surrounding Everglades ecosystem.

As a designated Urban Refuge by the US Fish and Wildlife Service, we provide opportunities for Palm Beach County residents to engage with natural Florida through outdoor programming, scenic walking trails, and access to the some of the best biking, paddling, hiking and angling spots in South Florida.
