About us
Green Cross Sri Lanka was established as the 29th member of Green Cross family on 16th of September 2005. Environmental security and sustainability We hope to educate a large number of school children on the importance of the environmental protection and enhance the environmental knowledge of the younger generation of Sri Lanka, which is in the tropical region possessing very rich biodiversity. This will be beneficial for them in the future as dedicated citizens in Sri Lanka. Water for life Sri Lanka is facing a severe shortage of clean drinking water, especially in remote villages. Due to that fact, serious health problems have arisen. We have already launched a number of projects to address this issue and look forward to launching more water projects in the future.
