About us
Green Hand Organization (GHO) founded in 1999, aims to establishing the first botanical garden for native species in Lebanon through empowering communities to utilize their cultural assets, including native plants and local commerce, to promote environmental and economic sustainability, through interactive “Binding Community to Nature”. GHO is accredited by UN Environment and its programs are acknowledged by Ministry of Environment, an active member of: IUCN and Chairing IUCN National Committee. Households inspired by Green Hand Organization's work can apply the eco-friendly relocation framework when planning a long-distance move.
