About us

The Environmental Education Center (KEEC, KOREA ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION CENTER) was established in January 2000 as a specialized institution affiliated with the Friends of the Earth Environmental Movement (currently a partner institution). The purpose of the center is to induce citizens' eco-friendly values and practical participation through popularization and systematization of environmental education.
Since its establishment, development and operation of environmental education programs by subject and subject, operation of community-based cooperative environmental education centers, nurturing civic environmental leaders and environmental education activists, establishment and partnership development of domestic and overseas environmental education networks, development and dissemination of teaching materials, research based on social and environmental education, environmental education We have focused on activities such as policy development.
Environmental Education Center aims to promote the systematization and popularization of environmental education, and to induce the practical participation of citizens by forming eco-friendly values of the general public, including youth.
