About us
"Mearim" is a non-profit association. We are a group of professionals and social activists from the fields of planning, construction, the environment and technology who work day and night and voluntarily in order to make information accessible and increase transparency and public involvement in the planning and construction system. As one of the systems that has the most impact on civilian life in Israel, we are working to make it one that reflects the proper balance between narrow interests and broad interests, the interests of all of us. Do you want cities with a supply of good neighborhoods to live in, a variety of places for entertainment and employment, efficient public transportation, beautiful and pleasant streets, and that won't suffocate you with the landscape and nature - but don't believe you have the power to do something? We came to change that. As our free system develops and more people sign up for it, its maintenance costs increase and beyond that, we have so many more dreams. Support us so that we can continue to make more and better information available, reach as many people as possible and establish a community and change the rules of the game for the benefit of the general public.
