About us

Our beloved Cambodia, is sadly experiencing one of the fastest rates of forest area loss in the world. The country’s forests and wildlife are quickly disappearing due to unchecked development and large agri-business concessions (ELCs) in wilderness areas. There is a general rush for economic development, yet a lack of careful planning & consideration for the country's environment and the importance of preserving Cambodia's wildlife, habitats & natural biodiversity heritage.

L.E.A.F is a non-profit community organization, established in 2015.
Our mission is to create grassroots local impacts, by promoting ecotourism & establishing conservation incentive projects in rural Cambodia.

We work closely with vulnerable forest communities, to create sustainable livelihoods. We seek to make conservation education available to poor rural communities & strengthen environmental values that exist in traditional customs & believes.

Our project and activity are funded through visitor contributions & donations at our elephant sanctuary and eco-tourism center. With additional professional assistance from our large network of local & overseas volunteers.
