About us

The objectives of the course to be offered in MEI are to provide students with the scientific knowledge, principles, concepts and methodologies to understand the interrelationships of the physical and biological components of nature, to identify and analyze environmental problems both human-made and natural, and to evaluate the risks associated with these problems and examine alternative solutions for resolving them. The course also aims to give knowledge and techniques of impact assessment in major development projects and related mitigation measures.
