About us

Society for Conservation & Protection of Environment (SCOPE) is registered under "Societies Registration Act 1860" as a non-governmental organization (NGO). 

SCOPE is enlisted by Income Tax Department as an NGO, under Income Tax Ordinance 2001 and donations received by it are tax exempted.

SCOPE believes that current trend of environmental degradation can be reversed if people are educated, communities are organized and empowered, experts are involved in sustainable development thinking, Governments are made committed to eradicate poverty and corporate sector is made responsible. SCOPE also believes that there are enough resources on the globe, which can be shared on equitable basis.
