About us
The Humane Center for Animal Welfare HCAW was established on September 20, 2000 as a Non for Profit Organization (NPO) to promote the welfare of animals in Jordan. In July 2005, WSPA, The World Society for the Protection of Animals, matched the Grant given to HCAW by the Ministry of Planning for the construction of a purpose built veterinary hospital, the first of its kind in the region. In September 2005 excavation commenced.
