About us
The Nature Conservancy was founded in 1986, 250 chapters in 6 units and 12 subcommittees across the country. It has nearly 300,000 members nationwide, with subordinate organizations such as the Diving Unit, Mountain Unit, Aviation Unit, Environmental Monitoring Unit, Environmental Investigation Unit, Poaching Monitoring Unit, SMS Special Rescue Team, and White Peace Scouts. In the second half of 2006, the organization started the Northeast Asia White Peace Regiment and is promoting branches in Japan, China, Thailand, Singapore, and New Zealand.
