About us
The Tierschutzverein Swakopmund (SPCA) is a local independent Registered Welfare Organisation established in 1970, solely relying on public funding and donations. Our mission is to provide a safe, well maintained sanctuary for domestic cats and dogs in our care whilst waiting to be re-homed. They are safely and lovingly accommodated at our animal shelter where they also receive veterinary care when needed until they can be re-homed to qualifying persons.
