APEMETA – Associação Portuguesa de Empresas de Tecnologias Ambientales (Portuguese Association of Environmental Technologies Companies), is a private and non-profit business association in the environmental technologies sector , and was established in 1991, with the aim of supporting business activity in the sector, disseminating and strengthening its skills. .

With the status of a Public Utility Entity since 2006 and a Non-Governmental Environmental Organization, registered with the APA – Portuguese Environment Agency, APEMETA is committed to the continuous training of the sector through training, seminars and national projects to support collective actions for qualification, entrepreneurship and internationalization, having also collaborated in several international projects .
