About us

As a result of the 2020 war, some families lost access to arable farmland. Today, much of Artsakh’s food is imported from Armenia and is expensive. To address these problems, ATP will construct small greenhouses (30 square meters) in the backyards of 50 families in the coming months. Additionally, it will establish a nursery in Stepanakert.

Residents and newly resettled villagers in places such as Herher, Taghvard, Karmir Shuka, Chartar and Askeran suffered immense losses during the war. This program will provide some economic stability and, most importantly, hope for their future.

Our organization started with great hope for the future 26 years ago during a similar dark time after the first Artsakh war. ATP’s mission is to assist the Armenian people in using trees to improve their standard of living and protect the global environment. In doing so, we are guided by the need to promote self-sufficiency, aid those with the fewest resources first, and conserve the indigenous ecosystem. We continue to plant with hope for the future, provide economic opportunities and economic security to our people, help to stabilize border villages, and preserve and enrich our country’s environment.
