About us

Atmocean is a wave energy company. Our wave energy converter operates ocean pumps driven by waves that move pressurized sea water to an onshore desalination plant where the sea water can be converted into fresh water with no external energy use. In addition, the pumps still act as artificial up-welling units providing additional ecological benefits to the areas they are deployed in.
Benefits of this technology revolve around this invention's simplicity in design and function. Systems can be built centrally and shipped around the world in standard shipping containers. Because we use readily available parts, the system can also be managed locally with small boating operation resources and refurbishment centers.
