About us
ATREA s.r.o. is a Czech company started as early as 1990. Since its foundation it has been working intensely on energy savings, the quality of the indoor environment of buildings and the effect of buildings on the environment. In 2005 we expanded our activities to become one of the first companies in the Czech Republic to get systematically involved in the development, construction, support and promotion of energy-passive houses (EPD). At the turn of 2006-7 we completed a pilot large-scale development project of twelve passive houses and a training centre in the village of Koberovy in Cesky raj. This unique endeavour has been followed by the successful completion of dozens of energy-passive ATREA-system wooden houses all around the Czech Republic. ATREA s.r.o. is one of the founding members of major professional and interest associations supporting and promoting modern and efficient trends in the building industry.
