About us

Blue Mountain Environmental Consulting, located in Fort Collins Colorado was established By Matt Tobler in 2001 to provide natural resource management, conservation planning and environmental compliance services throughout Colorado and neighboring states.  We proudly serve private landowners, non-profit organizations, federal, state and local government entities and private sector clients. 

Helping landowners and managers achieve project outcomes by functioning as a liaison between our clients, regulatory entities and natural resources is our goal.  Our clients directly benefit from the cost saving structure of small business and our ability give each project our full attention.    We are committed to sustaining our environment through the application of environmental sciences and attention to detail but our secrete sauce is composed of nuance and relationships.  Our ability to listen, understand, communicate and construct projects to meet specific client goals, to achieve service specific outcomes is what makes us special. 

Our focus on relationships extends beyond that of the business with our clients to include the interaction of various resource disciplines with each other.  Ecology, at its core, is about the relationship between biotic and abiotic components of the environment.  We are situated someplace in between helping our clients meet their goals as they interact with the environment.  We integrate resource disciplines to achieve outcomes that help our clients and sustain our environment.
