About us
Our farm, Du Bois, is situated in the Overberg in the mountains between Stanford and Elim. We’ve been farming in this area for the past 20 odd years. We value the clean air that comes from the ocean in the East and West. Gravitation brings the freshwater for our gardens from springs higher up in the mountains – we don’t own a pump! This suits our ideal of organic, sustainable farming. We grow all our vegetable soil focused; not plant-focused. Meaning, we sustain and feed the soil as well as the organisms that live in it. Good soil takes care of the plants.
