About us
We are a small scale, uncertified organic farm, operating in the Kawartha Lakes area. Historically, we specialized in garlic, growing over 40 varieties at one time. Since 2017, we have diversified and expanded into mixed vegetable market gardening and selling through farmer's markets + CSA. We believe firmly in the importance of celebrating local economy and paying fair prices. We are concerned for our planet, plastic use in agriculture, and the arbitrary standards imposed upon produce. We are community-driven; while running a sustainably-focused business we also try to strengthen our interactions within the community, by providing an atmosphere that encourages folks to come to the farm and experience the implicit joy of working close to the land.
