About us

Since the beginning, Clover Leaf has provided support to Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratories, namely Sandia National Laboratories and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) in New Mexico. Being founded and headquartered in NM, we are proud to support these important institutions in our state. We provide support to the laboratories in all of our key service areas. We were instrumental in establishing baseline IH assessments at both Sandia and LANL as required by 10 CFR 851 when it went into effect in 2007. We also inventoried the entire Sandia facility infrastructure using BUILDERâ„¢ SMS, a massive project spanning 4 states and 3 years of work. To our knowledge, we were the only small business within the DOE national laboratory complex given the responsibility to complete the BUILDER initiative for a site. Our first client was the NM Army National Guard in the DoD, where we developed spill plans and other environmental services to support the National Guard mission. Our ES&H work on construction job sites led us to venture into performing construction management and code inspection, as well as project management with our key clients. With any project, we prioritized quality documentation, which provided us with a strong group of technical writers and we expanded into providing writing support directly to our clients and won a $9M technical writing and graphics contract with Sandia.
