About us

In 1965, our founders Betty Bryant Silverstein and Father Stan Hosie, started an organization to help at-risk communities in the South Pacific because they believed in the right and ability of all people to drive their own destinies.
Supporting coastal communities’ livelihoods while improving climate resiliency and protecting marine resources.
Training communities to practice sustainable fishing, enhancing economic well-being and protecting natural resources.
