About us
A newly registered Waste Management Recycling and Reuse company in West-Africa for the start. It counts a cosmopolitan group of 20 concerned locals and residents of different generations civically engaged in the start-up's Zero Waste Project. Whilst being workers, scholars or both for some we all feel morally and unconditionally devoted to making our global environment a better living place. OBJECTIVES On the short term, we plan to : ✓ Finish the construction and furnishing of local waste treatment and storage units on a purchased plot in the locality of Bargny near the new mineral port in the coastal region of Rufisque in Senegal ; ✓ Subcontract with already active freelance waste collectors in the region for pickups ; ✓Extend a network of community-based environmental civil workers, activists, volunteers in order to help in the outreach regarding the imperatives of nature's conservancy, the pickup, sorting, washing and eventually the transformation of waste, along with the cleaning of local landfills and seashores. Hopefully, on the long-term, we intend to : ✓ Create a commercial national-level platform, schowcase, events around the derived products from recyclage (plastic tiles, construction materials, furnitures, tools, accessories, arts etc...) ✓Contract and pay our own workers for the sorting, treatment and at the end of the chain, for the transformation and circular|cyclic part of the project ; ✓ Build more waste treatment and storage facilities and export them along with the associative ideas all through the subregion and if possible beyond. Given the astronomical amount of recyclable or single-use plastics and waste ending up decorating landscapes, buried underground or in the oceans ; due to the noticeable absolute full reliance of local communities on the very few and overworked governmental initiatives for waste management in the large majority of countries with a struggling economy.
