Ecopolis’ specialists have undertaken more than 240 inventarizations, 100 emission reduction programs, verified 80 emission reduction projects, 25 energy savings programs, all in all documented more than 1.700 thousand tons of CO emission reductions. Ecopolis has experience with the various applicable Russian and international standards, in particular GOST R 56276 and ISO 1464. Ecopolis has advised on financings at various stages of realization of the projects, has experience in registering projects outside of Russia, links to potential buyers of carbon emissions.- Ecopolis is currently involved in various discussions with agricultural companies about their climate policy and individual projects, including on reviewing supply chain issues and the potential sale of voluntary agricultural emission reductions to foreign purchasers. - Ecopolis is a member of Verico SE (https://www.verico.eu/en) and therefore can draw on worldwide know-how, including on the proposed European border tax, on locally implementing standards compatible with international ones, with projects in particular relating to agriculture and the fertilizer industry. For instance, Verico has worked on a Swiss project involving the reductions of emissions by the use of biochar as fertilizer.- Ecopolis has access to new technologies
