About us

A combined operation of solar power plants and agricultural activities on the same land area gives the opportunity to establish grazing, fodder production or other agricultural products on the same area as the power production, also called agrivoltaics.

Solar energy became the world's cheapest technology for electricity generation in 2020 and the cost of large solar energy projects has been reduced by 95% in a decade, according to the International Renewable Energy Agency, "IRENA"

Norway is better suited to the production of solar energy than many people think. Norway has the same high annual solar radiation as parts of the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium, and with double-sided solar panels we get the extra effect of reflection from snow.

Energeia has more than 20 years of experience in the solar power industry as an investor, operator and builder of solar power plants. We also have experience with combined operation between agriculture and solar power plants from our power plant in the Netherlands.
