About us

Environmental Pollution Group (EPG) was formed in 1989 to underwrite vessel pollution insurance. Operating as a Lloyd's cover holder, EPG underwrites vessel pollution policies with primary limits of up to $10,000,000. With lead only quoting and binding under our excess slip at Lloyd's, EPG is also able to quickly and efficiently place excess marine liability coverage with limits of up to $300,000,000 excess of $5,000,000 of underlying limits. If the need arises, excess coverage can also be placed on a bumbershoot basis with as little as $1,000,000 of underlying limits.

From its roots as a marine pollution underwriter, EPG has expanded its product offerings to include shore side environmental coverage. Aside from EPG's ability to place coverage for storage tank exposures, both above and underground, coverage for contractors, site pollution and transportation risks is also available. Saving time and effort for our customers, EPG knows which markets to approach in order to achieve the broadest coverage at the best price available.
