About us
Ilmatar Energy is a Nordic energy IPP company with Finnish roots. We operate at every single stage of renewable power production. Our operations range from greenfield development and construction management to operational asset management, as well as being a leading long-term PPA (power purchase agreement) provider in Finland. In addition, we work in co-operation with international companies involved in the energy sector. We have long experience from project development and building wind farms to long-term electricity production and technical and commercial management through our subsidiary Ilmatar Service. Ilmatar owns its projects for a lifetime of up to 40 years. Ilmatar’s onshore, offshore wind and solar power projects – currently in various stages of development – have a combined generation capacity of 20 GW in the Nordic countries.
