About us
Ingelia is a technology-based company situated in Valencia (Spain). Our aim is to develop sustainable projects, based on profiting local resources through an innovative process of hydrothermal carbonization of biomass (HTC process) industrially developed by Ingelia. Ingelia, after the effort made in the research, development and application of this technology since 2007, can offer solutions for biomass valorization, solving the problem of organic waste management, generating a solid biofuel in total harmony with the objectives of the European Commission. Since July 2010, Ingelia operates one of the first industrial plants worldwide applying HTC technology. After years of research into the technology and its products, Ingelia has commercially launched its innovative industrial process, being one of the pioneers in the industrial application of this innovative technology. The equipment and major HTC plant systems have been designed and patented by Ingelia.
