About us

Invest Solar Africa ('Invest Solar' or 'the Company') is a renewable energy company focused on developing and financing income-generating renewable energy projects in selected markets within Africa. The company is targeting to fully design, finance and install Solar Photovoltaic plants with a generation capacity of 300MW+ over the next five years.

The Company largely focus on executing small to medium projects (5MW-30MW), a niche that early movers have often ignored owing to a preference for larger scale projects. This size of projects generally attracts higher feed in tariffs and as technology evolves, can be scaled up to reduce the overall investment per megawatt, resulting in higher returns.

The directors and management have a significant track record in renewable energy investments, portfolio management, operations and raising capital. In particular, the founders and management team have significant experience in working within Africa and have successfully implemented multiple projects within the target markets. The combination of their experience, technical ability and network will be an important success factor in achieving the vision of the Company.
