Iowana Farm

About us

Iowana Farm is Certified Organic by OCIA (Organic Crop Improvement Association). Iowana Farm has 66 beautiful acres of land. It is just east of Cresent, Iowa, in the Iowa Loess Hills.
Twenty acres of land are under cultivation: six and a half acres are in vegetables, and the rest in alfalfa hay. The hillsides are oak savannah and tall grass prairie.
Iowana Farm is divided into a north field and a south field. The north field is located in our grandfather’s barn yard. There are thee high tunnels and a packing shed. We think our grandparents, Shorty and Alice, would love this. The south field is behind the farmhouse, and is accessed on a road that goes over the ridge, behind the house. In that field, are two more high tunnels. Since 2008, we have offered a variety of services and products that feature organic gardening and produce.
Iowana Farm products and services:
Through our CSA program, we offer fresh, organic farm to table produce for our members.
CSA partners with local farms and offers add on products: artisan goat cheese, farm grown, mushrooms, local honey, coffee, eggs and bread.
