Early 80's: Green Company S.r.l. starting its activity as European distributor of the electric vehicles manufactured by Melex. Latest 90': Tor International Group, an American company with headquarters in Miami (Florida, USA) buys 100% of Green Company starting the international development of the Company. At the same time Green Company shifts its distributor's activity into manufacturer of electric vehicles. Thanks to its know-how in the 1998 the Company make possible to obtain the first homologation for Melex electric vehicle. Year 2000: Green Company thanks to know-how developing and marketing strategies focused on EV field, became a reference player in the electric vehicle's market. The cooperation with international Companies operating in the electric vehicle's components, continue to increase. Year 2003: Green Company develops a partnership with T.Car, a company with headquarters in Atessa (southern Italy) already manufacturer of Minicars with Diesel and Gas engines. Green Company handles the electric development of T.Car's existing models. Year 2004: Green Company develops a cooperation with an Asian partner for the production of components used for its vehicles. Year 2005: Green Company buys 100% of T.Car and changes its name to ITALCAR Year 2008 : management decided to stop the production of Diesel vehicles and focus the production exclusively on electric cars.
