About us

Scott Pozerski, owner of Junk King Massachusetts North Shore, has been part of Junk King for over a decade. Scott has played an instrumental role in expanding Junk King throughout the East Coast.

Scott began managing the day-to-day operations of the Middlesex County Junk King location after purchasing Junk King Massachusetts North Shore. Helping to grow the Junk King brand is Scott’s passion.

The key to a successful Junk King business and a happy crew, Scott says, is giving your employees the freedom to do their jobs without watching their every move. Of course, he leads the team and makes sure the work gets completed, but avoiding micromanagement is what separates his business from others, whether it be office work or doing work like Junk King does.

With a capable crew of around a dozen capable employees, Scott at times finds himself relying on his crew’s experience and crew chief’s management skills. That said, Scott has fostered relationships with recyclers and charities in the Boston area so that more pieces of furniture, as well as appliances, can be recycled or repurposed.

Scott enjoys running his Junk King locations, and he’s truly grateful that his business provides a way to help the environment. It’s a great feeling, he says, to have a business that does good for the community and the planet.

In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his children and coaching his daughter’s soccer team.
