Malama Solar

About us

Mālama means “to care for.” When founders Chris and Rachel Ah Sue formed the company, they wanted a name that reflected not only their connection to their Hawaiian home, but also our duty – our kuleana – to care for the planet. Everywhere you go on our islands you’ll see the phrase Mālama ‘Āina—the Hawaiian value that if you care for the land, the land will care for you.
Mālama Solar is a Hawaii solar company founded entirely to be different. You can count on us to provide a quality experience, to be transparent from day one, and to stick by your side through any questions you have. Our 5-step process will guide you through permits, designs, customization, and installation.
