About us

Muranaka Environmental Consultants, Inc. (MEC) is an interdisciplinary, environmental consulting firm.  Since 1989, MEC has provided the Hawaii business community, federal, state, city and county agencies with professional consulting services.
MEC has comprehensive project experience and has provided both technical and management support for a variety of projects, including accredited asbestos and lead paint training; indoor air quality assessments, asbestos and lead abatement design; environmental assessments; asbestos building materials management; lead-containing paint management, industrial hygiene studies; and environmental field sampling and analysis.
We offer a valuable consulting alternative for organizations concerned about cost-effectiveness.  MEC delivers personal service at competitive rates, while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and integrity in all the services that it provides.  The high quality of our services is a result of combined knowledge and awareness in the industrial hygiene and environmental fields.
