About us

Kate began her journey to health and well-being over 20 years ago. After getting both fine arts and teaching degrees she started homeschooling her children. Due to some autoimmune and allergy issues in her family, she immersed herself in the natural connections between the earth, herbs and natural substances and the healing arts. She recently became a Certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.

Upon completion of her children’s education she began working at Nature’s Pantry. Within one month she was approached about purchasing the store and 2 months later it was hers. Her formal training and continuing education, personal understanding of the frustrations with conventional medicine, along with the knowledge and experience gained over many years, all play a vital role for Kate in running Nature’s Pantry as well as her nutritional therapy practice. She also takes pride in supporting other small businesses, both locally and globally, by putting those products on her shelves whenever possible.

In her spare time Kate enjoys gardening, cooking, yoga and learning more about herbs, supplements and healthy foods in order to better serve her customers. She also supports numerous local events and fundraisers through charitable donations.
