Neighborhood Sun is on a mission to make clean, affordable energy accessible to all– not just the select few who can afford their own rooftop panels. As a community solar subscription coordinator, Neighborhood Sun makes it possible for anyone who pays an electricity bill to subscribe to a share of the energy generated by their local community solar farm, which they get at a discount between 5-30%. The Maryland-based Public Benefit Corporation has saved its subscribers more than $4.5 Million on electricity bills. Through its fully customizable SunEngineTM software, Neighborhood Sun is able to meet the evolving needs of subscribers and solar developers to foster the best user experience for all key stakeholders. Neighborhood Sun currently manages more than 130 community solar farms across 7+ states and 14 utility territories.
