We are a publicly traded company with shares (NEOE3) traded on the São Paulo Stock Exchange. Part of the Spanish group Iberdrola, we have been operating in Brazil since 1997, and are currently one of the leaders in the country's electricity sector. We are present in 18 states and the Federal District, with businesses in the entire chain of the electricity sector: generation, transmission, distribution and commercialization. Our energy distributors, Neoenergia, serve 16 million customers, equivalent to a population of more than 37 million people. We operate in the generation, transmission, distribution and commercialization of energy and our energy matrix is 90% renewable! Through the Neoenergia Institute, we foster sustainable development through socio-environmental actions and thus contribute to improving the quality of life of the communities where we are present, especially the most vulnerable people, always aiming for sustainable development.
