About us
Nipika is an eco-resort Nipika operates in harmony with nature. We are completely off the grid, and source power from the sun and surrounding forest. All of Nipika’s electricity is generated with renewable, clean solar energy via a recently updated, state-of-the-art system. We salvage dead wood from the woodlot and burn it in a central boiler, which then provides hot water heating to the cabins and other buildings. Hot water is supplied using the same system. It is Nipika’s goal for guests to enjoy Canada’s Rocky Mountains in non-consumptive ways: enjoy the natural setting using self-propelled activities. Nipika is on the traditional territory of Ktunaxa and Secwepemc We would like to acknowledge that Nipika Mounatin Resort is within the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa and Secwepemc people. We are honoured and humbled to live, recreate, and work on the traditional land and waterways. Nipika Mountain Resort - Rocky Mountain Accommodation Nipika operates in harmony with nature.
