About us

Retrofit Ireland is a 100% Irish-owned building consultancy and construction company that has been helping upgrade Ireland's housing and commercial building stock since 2006, making it one of the longer-established players in the Irish retrofit market. The company specialises in construction and retrofitting of existing homes and commercial buildings to make them more energy efficient, carrying out its work nationwide in line with Ireland's Building Regulations (2019) and in compliance with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) processes.

Retrofit Ireland's domestic service helps homeowners access Irish government grant funding of up to €35,000 for deep retrofit projects covering insulation, heating upgrades, and other energy-efficiency measures, alongside Solar PV installation to help households generate their own electricity and reduce reliance on rising fuel costs. On the commercial side, the company helps property owners access grants of up to 30% toward energy-efficiency upgrades. Beyond retrofit installation itself, Retrofit Ireland offers project management and consultancy services to both contractors and homeowners nationwide, helping clients meet technical requirements, navigate regulations, and apply for grant funding, alongside a BER (Building Energy Rating) certification service and general construction services for extensions and upgrades.
