About us

RootEnergy is South Korea's local acceptance solution provider for large scale wind and solar projects, including the operation of a crowdfunding platform specialized in renewable energy projects. On this platform, anyone can fund projects and participate in businesses that generate clean energy and create a positive environmental impact.
 

 The local acceptance solution comprises of stakeholder engagement solution, such as organizing and operating of local councils, and community participation which enables crowdfunding of local people for renewable energy projects. The company also provides enterprise services such as RE100 solution and community leading IPP solution. 
 

 Its overall mission is to "accelerate energy transition to create a sustainable future". Financing, public acceptability, mistaken information about renewable energy are the main barriers to speed up the energy transition in Korea. RootEnergy seeks to solve these problems through community participation in impact investment.
