Egypt, once the breadbasket of modern civilization, has a plethora of beautiful produce. However, when Sara-K. Hannig Nour moved to Egypt in 2010 she found it hard to know whether the food available in the market was healthy and free of harmful pesticides and chemicals. ‘Growing up in Switzerland I was able to make informed choices about the food that I eat and I wanted to have that same transparency here in Egypt’.
