Springdale Water Utilities (SWU) operates and maintains the public water and sewer systems in Springdale Arkansas as well as portions of Lowell and Johnson. Water service is also provided to the city of Elm Springs. SWU is managed by the Springdale Water and Sewer Commission, which was formed in 1963. The Water and Sewer Commission’s primary purpose is to provide adequate and dependable water and sewer service to all its users, consistent with good business practices, dedicated to preserving the health, safety, and welfare of all its users.
